Farnsworth students off to Houston for engineering comp

County plans fewer lanes on Larpenteur to increase safety


Mike Munzenrider Ramsey County plans to convert a stretch of Larpenteur Avenue that borders Roseville from four lanes to three lanes in an effort to increase pedestrian safety.

The Roseville City Council was updated April 15 about planned safety improvements to a stretch of Larpenteur Avenue where two pedestrians were killed in a single crash earlier this year.

Solomon Gustavo North St. Paul resident and former businessman Roger Vasko, who attends Church of St. Peter in North St. Paul, is the president of the new St. Joseph Business Guild. The association’s aim is to help Catholic businesses and families.

In the medieval age between the 5th and 15th centuries, Catholic craftspeople and merchants were part of a system of guilds.

Finding unexpected spring fun in Columbia

Loblolly pines and cypress trees tower over the swamp boardwalk at Congaree National Park.

Late winter is definitely not a fun time in Minnesota. That was especially true this year when even the hardiest Paul Bunyan-types among us were crying for mercy.
