For over 25 years, Keystone Senior Living has provided an extraordinary senior living experience in the heart of Roseville. With its Northwoods-themed decor and its picturesque location along the shores of Lake Owasso, Keystone offers lakeside living within minutes of all the conveniences the city has to offer.

The charming and newly renovated home has an open floor plan and features private apartments with views of the lake, along with several cozy common areas and quiet nooks. Keystone has its own restaurant where residents enjoy three chef-created meals per day. There's an on-site beauty salon, secure lakeside patio, and a new cafe where folks can relax, socialize and enjoy a snack or glass of wine.

Keystone Senior Living of Roseville offers assisted living and memory care options with a variety of services and life enrichment programs.

Willows Memory Care neighborhood now open

A difficult challenge of growing older for some is memory loss. And, for some older adults, severe memory loss can interfere with the joys of life and day-to-day activities.

Keystone recently opened its one-of-a-kind Willows Memory Care neighborhood to help seniors with memory loss live more fulfilling lives. Housed in Keystone's Roseville home, Willows is a warm, inviting and secure community for seniors living with dementia.

Designed to resemble a lakeside, vacation-themed cabin, Willows residents can experience the serenity of their favorite summer getaways.

"We wanted to play on a Minnesota theme. Most of us have spent time and have fond memories at the lake or cabin," Leasing Director James "JJ" Johnston says. "There's a calming effect being by the water."

Executive Director Phil Manz explains that Willows Memory Care is perfectly suited for seniors coping with memory loss wanting more life enrichment, and more activity, in their daily lives.

Life enrichment associates work with residents seven days a week to improve memory through a variety of programs tailored to individual interests. Willows residents explore the arts, music, crafts and several indoor and outdoor activities that spark memories and enrich their lives.

"I've seen it so many times, where someone seems so disconnected, but then hears a song, remembers the lyrics and starts singing," Keystone's Community Liaison Kathy Wedemeyer says.

The Willows motto is:
    We Laugh
    We Sing
    We Sweat
    We Explore the Arts
    We Celebrate!

The Willows stays true to that motto and has already become known for providing some of the best care and programming for seniors with memory loss in the region.

The committed staff at Keystone recognize that all people are unique and age differently, and they customize care for each individual as their wants and needs change.

"We have an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life each and every day," Johnston says.
