Planned use development approved for Islamic center
The City of St. Anthony has held up its end of the settlement deal it brokered with the U.S. Department of Justice last year, with the city council voting to create special zoning that clears the way for an Islamic center in the city.
At its Feb. 10 meeting, the council voted unanimously to create a planned use development for 3055 Old Highway 8, the future home of the Abu-Huraira Islamic Center.

Roseville examines feeding ban, controlled hunt

At least one thing was agreed on at the Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission's Feb. 3 meeting on deer control: stop feeding them. Even one of the deer feeders was on board.
