Roseville, Hill-Murray renew playoff rivalry

Over the last four seasons, the Roseville Area High School girls hockey team has lost only two section playoff games. Both of those defeats came at the hands of Hill-Murray, which has quickly turned into the Raiders’ biggest post-season rival.
That rivalry is set to be renewed this week when Roseville and Hill-Murray square off in a Section 4AA semifinal on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Aldrich Arena.

Raiders enter post-season with momentum

For the past four years, the Section 4AA girls hockey championship has come down to Roseville Area High School and Hill-Murray High School. That streak will end this year.
The seedings for this year’s section tournament were released on Sunday and Roseville ended up as the fourth seed while Hill-Murray got the No. 1 spot. That means that if the two squads do square off in the post-season this year, it will be in the semifinals.

Raiders looking for consistency as post-season nears

When the Roseville Area High School girls hockey team started the 2013-14 season with a seven-game winning streak, it appeared the Raiders were ready for life without Kate Flug. Roseville is 6-8 since then and is using the final few weeks of the season getting ready for the post-season.
Consistency is the main thing the Roseville coaching staff is looking for between now and the playoffs.
