A busy week for New Brighton firefighters

On the morning of March 17, New Brighton Department of Public Safety units responded to a report of smoke coming from a home on the 1700 block of Ninth Street NW, according to the NBDPS Facebook page.

New Brighton city staff considers developers for Korean church property

Since a city staff team-building retreat in January, New Brighton has been in contact with developers interested in the redevelopment of the city-owned defunct Korean United Methodist Church site, according to the New Brighton City Council’s Feb.

Up a little hill off Old Highway 8 and County Road D in New Brighton stands Barley John’s Brew Pub, the eatery and pub where John Moore has brewed and served craft beer all under the same roof since 2000.
