INQUIRING MINDS: I heard it on the radio

Q.  I am looking for old recordings of MPR’s “Morning Show” skits with Dale Connelly and Jim Ed Poole. Do you have any recordings available, or do you know of a source for these?

A. Old-timers in the Twin Cities remember the days when Dale Connelly and Tom Keith (aka Jim Ed Poole) dominated the morning commuter airwaves with Minnesota Public Radio’s “The Morning Show.” The program ended in 2008 with Keith’s retirement, but it is still possible to find partial recordings from the program under a series of CDs called “Keepers.” Our library doesn’t carry them, but we can get them for you by borrowing them from other libraries through the Interlibrary Loan process. Check with a staff member for more information.
