Pollinator Festival

The Lower Phalen Creek Project, an East Side conservation nonprofit, will host the annual Pollinator Festival at the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The family-friendly festival will include interactions with live bees, bird walks, food trucks and a scavenger hunt. There will also be activities hosted by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, UMN Bee Squad, Urban Roots, Monarch Joint Venture, St. Paul Parks and Recreation, Urban Bird Collective and other organizations. Plans for the future Wakan Tipi Center will also be unveiled at the festival. This event is free and open to all. More information can be found at www.lowerphalencreek.org.
