Love in the wild

Animals celebrate Valentine’s Day all year round, and some of their mating rituals are wonderfully bizarre. Join Dodge as they reveal the “love” secrets of a variety of animals. Your date night will include social time indoors with a glass of wine and cheese and a presentation that will show you the funny and unusual ways creatures attract a mate. After that, snuggle up with your loved one in a picturesque horse drawn sleigh that will venture through the winter forest. You will need a little more than love to keep you warm in February, so bring the right clothing to be comfortable on the sleigh ride. This experience has limited reservations so register soon. The cost is $60 per couple, and this will run Feb. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m., at Dodge Nature Center, 1701 Charlton St., West St. Paul. Call 651-455-4531 or visit www.dodgenaturecenter.org/Activities/?activityId=858 to register.
