PeaceMaker, pie and learning

Have a complimentary piece of pie and a cup of coffee while talking about the work of PeaceMaker Minnesota to help schools reduce bullying and teach kids conflict resolution skills. New Brighton blood drive

Fall Harvest Family Day celebration

Celebrate the fall harvest with Roseville Parks and Recreation and Shoreview Parks and Recreation.

Join in for fall arts and crafts, carnival games, music, a photo booth, refreshments and fun at Fall Harvest Family Day on Saturday, Nov. 17. The fun starts at 10 a.m. and goes until noon at Cedarholm Community Building, 2323 Hamline Ave. N., Roseville.

Kids of all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The cost for children is $10 regular, or $8 for Roseville or Shoreview residents. Adults cost $8 regular or $6 for Roseville or Shoreview residents. Attendees must register in their own city to receive the discount. Pre-registration is required, walk-ins will not be taken.

St. Anthony Sustainability Fair

The Sustainability Fair is Saturday, Nov. 17, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the St. Anthony Community Center, 3301 Silver Lake Road. Presentations will be on electric vehicles, sustainability in St. Anthony Village and recycling and organics in Hennepin County. More than 20 groups and organizations will be there. Master’s Chorale concert

The Twin Cities Master’s Chorale is performing a free concert at Presbyterian Church of the The Way in Shoreview on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. The show will be conducted by artistic director Larry Bach and accompanied by Dr. Joshua Tompkins, pianist. The church is located at 3382 Lexington Ave. Admission is free but donations will be accepted.


Anxiety speaker in Roseville

NAMI RamseyCounty is holding an event on anxiety disorders on Monday, Nov. 19, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Roseville Lutheran Church, 1215 Roselawn Ave. in Roseville. The speaker will be Alyson VanAhn. Alzheimer’s support group

An Alzheimer’s Association support group meets every third Monday of the month from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the new Brighton Community Center. Support and education are provided by facilitator Amy House, who is affiliated and trained by the Alzheimer’s Association and trained in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care.
