Autism Awareness Carnival in Roseville

On Saturday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., support the Austism Society of Minnesota by attending the second annual Autism Awareness Carnival in Rosevlle’s Central Park West in the Foundation Park Shelter. The park is located at 2495 Victoria St. N.

 

Taggart Squared piano concert

Sister and brother piano prodigies, 15-year-old Emma and 11-year-old Jacob Taggart are performing at Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Brighton on Monday, May 21, at 7 p.m. No tickets are required but donations will be accepted. Taggart Squared performs frequently in the Twin Cities area but has also participated in piano competitions in Spain, Italy and most recently St. Petersburg, Russia. Christ the King Lutheran Church is located at 1900 Seventh St. NW in New Brighton. For more information call 651-633-4375.

 

Irondale High School Choir presents pops concerts

The Irondale High School Choir Department is hosting two pops concerts at Irondale High School on Monday, May 21, starting at 7 p.m. The concerts are free, though donations will be taken at the door. The first concert features the varsity men’s and women’s choir, the Knightingales Choir and Bella Voice. The second concert, scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m., features the concert choir, Guyz Group and Triple Trio. Irondale High School is located at 2425 Long Lake Road in New Brighton. St. Mary’s Women’s Club spring luncheon

The St. Mary’s Women’s Club is hosting a spring salad luncheon at St. Mary’s Parish Center on Thursday, May 24 ,starting at 11 a.m. Tickets are $12. St. Mary’s Parish Center is located at 1701 Fifth St. NE in Minneapolis. For more information call 612-781-7667. 

 

Visiting musicians at Roseville Lutheran Church

Join visiting musicians Chuck Seipp on trumpet and Randall Sheets on organ and piano in concert, for an evening of virtuoso, entertaining and inspirational music on Firday, May 25, at 7 p.m. at Roseville Lutheran Church, 1215 Roselawn Ave. in Roseville. The concert is free but donations are welcome.

 

Rock orchestra concert at MVHS

The annual Mounds View High School Rock Orchestra Concert is Tuesday, May 29, at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. It will feature the school’s rock, concert and symphony orchestras, the winners of the rock orchestra singing contest, and special guest Jeromy Darling. There is a suggested donation of $6 for adults and $4 for students. MVHS is located at 1900 Lake Valentine Road in Arden Hills.
