The senior contributed to 8-5 and 12-10 wins in back-to-back games against Hastings High School wth two home runs in each of the games. According to head coach Jessica Dooley, the doubleheader was caused by unseasonable April snow, which resulted in 17 of the team’s 20 games being rescheduled. During that same week, which included another doubleheader May 2, Head, who is also a team captain, had eight RBIs. “Madison has great power, but she focuses on making good contact and hitting the ball in the gaps,” said Dooley. “Her power and solid mechanics have allowed her to have a fair number of home runs.”
