Valentine Bibliobop

Have fun with books and music from the West St. Paul Library’s collection, 199 Wentworth Ave. E., with DJ Ms. Donell. This is open to kids ages 2 to 8 and will run from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 12.

 

Northstar Digital Literacy Class

Improve your computer skills through the Northstar Digital Literacy curriculum. For information, call 651-457-9441. Register online at www.mn.gov/deed/dakotascottworkshops or call 651-554-5955. Sessions are cumulative; participants must attend all three sessions at the same location. The first session at the Inver Glen Library, 8098 Blaine Ave. E., is Feb. 13 from 1 to 3 p.m., with the second session on Feb. 15. The final session will be on Feb. 20.

 

South St. Paul Book Club

The South St. Paul Afternoon Book Club will meet on Feb. 14 from 1 to 3 p.m., at the library, 106 Third Ave. N., to discuss “The Secret Keeper” by Kate Morton. 

 

Inver Grove Heights comp. plan open house

The 2040 Inver Grove Heights Comprehensive Plan continues, and the city wants to hear from its residents. There will be an informal conversation on the plan on Feb. 15. The “drop-in” open house will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m., at Veterans Memorial Community Center, 8055 Barbara Ave. E.

 

Blood drives

There will be a blood drive Feb. 20 from 1 to 7 p.m., at Augustana Lutheran Church, 1400 S. Robert St., West St. Paul. Inver Hills Community College, 2500 E. 80th St., will be the site of another blood drive on Feb. 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments can be made to donate by downloading the free Red Cross Blood Donor app, visiting redcrosblood.org or calling 1-800-733-2767.
