The public is invited to an open house to review the preferred alternative for the Hadley interchange at County Highway 35 and Highway 36. The open house will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, at the Oakdale Discovery Center, 4444 Hadley Ave. N. in Oakdale.

The project is designed to enhance user safety and mobility throughout this segment of the highway, while extending continuity of the Highway 36 corridor improvements completed so far. The project would remove the existing signalized intersection, which will move Highway 36 closer to being an access-controlled expressway with grade-separated intersections. The project improvements will include a new bridge, interchange ramps, Gateway Trail grade separation, and other pedestrian enhancements. Goals of the project include reducing travel delays and improving the intersection to more efficiently and safely manage increasing traffic and pedestrian/bicycle movements in the area.
