Falcon Heights

 

‘A few compact discs’

He reported it but told police he didn’t need any further help — a 21-year-old said someone rummaged through his car overnight into Oct. 27 in the 1800 block of Pascal Street but only took “a few compact discs.”

 

Arrests

Police picked up a 53-year-old man at the SuperAmerica in the 1300 block of Larpenteur Avenue Oct. 24 and booked him at the Ramsey County Jail on an outstanding Washington County warrant for theft.

 

A 28-year-old woman stopped at Fairview and Larpenteur avenues was arrested and cited Oct. 25 for brake light issues, driving with a revoked license and for no proof of insurance.

 

‘Tis the season

A 28-year-old woman who lives in apartments in the 1500 block of Larpenteur Avenue told police Oct. 28 someone stole a package she was expecting, resulting in a loss of $87.08. Building management is looking at security footage to see what happened. Word to those expecting boxes: Have your packages delivered to a place, like your work or a neighbor’s house, where someone you know can receive it.

 

Lauderdale

 

Between Oct. 24 and Oct. 30 police arrested and cited men and women ages 25-41 for license and insurance violations on Como and Larpenteur avenues and Highway 280.

 

Little Canada

 

At the carwash

Someone tried to break into the coin box at the carwash in the first block of Demont Avenue, as reported to police by an employee Nov. 7. The person caused $100 worth of damage in their failed attempt to steal change.

 

Burglary

A woman told police someone broke into her apartment in the 2600 block of Ruth Street sometime before Nov. 5 and stole a pair of Nikes and an empty purse.

 

Charge fraud

A 62-year-old man told police someone stole his credit card out of a company car and made $337 in fraudulent charges.

 

Dirt bike theft

Someone made off with a $2,500 dirt bike that was parked in an unlocked garage in the 600 block of County Road D Nov. 2.
