Falcon Heights

 

Arrests

 

Police arrested and cited six people, ages 18-35, on Snelling or Larpenteur avenues Oct. 4-8, for driving with revoked or suspended licenses.

 

Learning the wrong way

 

Police stopped a 24-year-old man Oct. 8 at Larpenteur Avenue and Coffman Street for speeding. It turns out the man, while using a learner’s permit to drive, had an open bottle of alcohol in the car. He was arrested and cited for the bottle, speeding and a violation of what the learner’s permit allows.

 

Lauderdale

 

Arrests

 

Police arrested and cited three men ages 21-55, between Oct. 3 and Oct. 9, for driving with revoked licenses or operating uninsured vehicles in the area of Larpenteur Avenue and Highway 280.

 

DWI

 

Police arrested a 25-year-old New Brighton man Oct. 8 at Broadway Street and Highway 280 for driving while intoxicated — he blew a .23 blood alcohol concentration. He was booked at the Ramsey County Jail for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI and third-degree blood alcohol concentration over .08, which is the legal limit.

 

Warrant check

 

Police arrested a 42-year-old woman on an oustanding Scott County warrant for failure to appear in court for a felony drug charge. The woman, picked up Oct. 4 at Como and 33rd avenues, stopped off and was booked at the Ramsey County Jail prior to her now inevitable return south to Scott County.

 

Little Canada
