Former Raider closes collegiate diving career

Roseville Area High School graduate Emily Pascavis recently wrapped up her collegiate diving career and walked away with some impressive accomplishments.

Pascavis, a diver for the Minnesota State University Moorhead women’s swimming and diving team, was named the team’s diver of the year in her senior season. She earned conference diver of the week honors five times this season and eight for her career.

She holds the school record for six dives on both the one and three-meter boards and she also holds home pool records for 11 dives on the one-meter board and six dives on the three-meter board.

Pascavis made one appearance in the NCAA Division II national meet. She qualified as a junior by finishing 10th in the pre-qualifying meet. She had seven victories that season and finished third on both the one and three-meter boards at the conference meet. She was also the Dragons’ diver of the year as a junior and was named academic all-conference.

A 2012 Roseville graduate, Pascavis earned all-state, all-conference and all-section diving honors for the Raiders. She was also a gymnast at Roseville and helped win a state title.
