District 622 Education Foundation to hold annual 5K run

A good day to get the family together for fun and exercise would be Saturday, July 25, when the Annual 622 Education Foundation Family Fun Run/Walk takes place.

The 5K will begin at 9 a.m., and participants will assemble beforehand at Polar Arena on the North High School campus, 2444 E. 11th Ave. Runners will wind their way through North St. Paul and finish back at the arena parking lot.

The race is a fundraiser for the 622 Foundation, which supports several elementary and secondary programs within the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District.

The registration fee is $25 for adults and $15 for kids age 16 and younger.

The free Kid Run starts at 10 a.m., and the Toddler Trot follows at 10:15 a.m.

Online registration for the 5K is being accepted at www.622educationfoundation.com or contact District 622 Special Education Teacher Doug Ronsberg at dronsberg@isd622.org.

There will be onsite 5K registration from 8 to 8:45 a.m. the day of the race.
