Mendota Heights Spring Cleanup 2015

Mendota Heights residents can bring things like car tires, furniture, matresses and boxsprings, home remodeling debris, electronics and scrap metals to Spring Cleaunup 2015 at Mendota Park, 2171 Dodd Road , on May 2, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Cleaners, be sure to bring your ID to prove Mendota Heights residency. Tires and furniture will be disposed of for $5, mattresses and boxsprings for $10, while some discards are free and others will be priced by volume. Only residents with passenger vehicles or small trailers will be allowed. New to this year, Spring Cleanup will accept non-business documents for shredding. Bring paper products like credit card offers, bank statements and medical records to be properly disposed of.

A flat fee for shredding of $5 will be charged per vehicle. Cardboard, books, and non-paper materials like metal will not be accepted, so take documents out of things like binders. Yard waste, recyclables and business and contractor waste will not be accepted. Bikes and scrap metal can be dropped off for free.
