The inaugural Fish House Frenzy, three teams in a 24-hour building competition, took place at Joe’s Sporting Goods in Maplewood Oct. 17 to benefit Rebuilding Together Twin Cities. Team Adolfson & Peterson Construction, whose fish house “On the Rocks” raised $17,000, work on the interior. Kraus-Anderson Construction Team are busy on the exterior of their “Fishing Lodge” fish house, auctioned off at $15,000. The one by Dunwoody Construction Sciences Program will be raffled off in December. Teams turned a pile of materials, along with a metal trailer frame and running lights/wiring harness, into custom fish houses. The top-of-the-line, luxury RV-style fish house competition benefits critical home repairs- particularly older adults, individuals living with disabilities, and families with children and members of the armed services.
