Arrests
The officer may have suffered from writer’s cramp after he was through citing this guy — the 28-year-old was booked at the Ramsey County Jail on a felony warrant for his arrest for a predatory offender violation and also written up Aug. 12 at Snelling and Dan Patch avenues for driving after license revocation, no insurance, expired registration and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

What was he thinking — his tumbling thoughts jammed together like underwear in a dryer without Bounce — the 25-year-old man was arrested Aug. 15 at Snelling and Roselawn avenues for driving after license revocation, no proof of insurance, expired registration and displaying license plate stickers belonging to another vehicle.

A 20-year-old woman was sent flying back to reality on a pair of outstanding felony warrants for her arrest for third-degree and fifth-degree possession of narcotics. She was booked at the jail.

Criminal damage to property
It was all in a night’s work for vandals who used high-powered pellet or BB guns overnight Aug. 13 to end the useful life of a pair of basketball backboards in the Falcon Heights Elementary schoolyard in the 1300 block of Garden Avenue. The damage was estimated at $2,000.

Partners in crime
Following a traffic stop at Snelling and Como avenues Aug. 15, a 46-year-old passenger was booked at the jail on an outstanding felony warrant out of New Jersey for violating his probation and possession of marijuana. The driver, 49, was cited for driving after license suspension and no insurance.
