Roseville High School artists win 12 awards at MSHL art competition

Roseville Area High School artists had a great showing at the Minnesota State High School League Visual Art Competition at the Perpich Center for Arts Education in Golden Valley in March.

Roseville had 11 students displaying 11 separate pieces of artwork at the show, which ended on March 23 with an award ceremony.

The Roseville students who won awards at the MSHL show are:

• Cassie Etienne, Excellent Award and the Judges Choice Award. Her piece was selected as one of 10 art pieces out of 160 pieces at the MSHL show chosen to be displayed at another Perpich show in early May.
• Maggie Benson, Superior Award and a medal
• Paul Veach Superior Award and a medal
• Emma Keel, Superior Award and a medal
• Laura Wilfer, Excellence Award
• Julia Hartmann, Excellence Award
• Carmen Ho, Excellence Award
• Georgia Potter, Excellence Award
• Lian Conrad, Excellence Award
• Anne Lehman, Excellence Award;
• Morgan Madison, Excellence Award
