Larson Ebb Law: Providing the highest-quality service with a personal touch

Jane J. Larson and Mary Joki Ebb.

"Mary Ebb was very helpful to me in drawing up my will, establishing a trust, and in setting forth my wishes about end of life medical care. I feel very fortunate that my three children know my wishes and that my older daughter will have power of attorney when I am no longer able to handle my affairs."

"I personally work with seniors and their insurance needs, and there is not another person I would trust so much with my clients. Mary Ebb is the best!"
Insurance Agent

"I was so lucky that I found Mary! She is an expert in the legalities of elder law and is also sensitive to the emotions that come with the planning process. As the full-time caregiver of my mother, Mary also provided a recommendation for adult daycare. This was not part of our planning, but Mary knew that it was something that I needed. I have recommended Mary to several friends and would not do so if I didn't trust that Mary would provide excellent service."

"I had a complex guardianship issue with my elderly father. There were complicating family dynamics. Mary was welcoming and friendly AND she understood my situation right away. She made the necessary phone calls, drew up the necessary paperwork and filed it in a very timely manner. She explained things to me clearly and in detail. And given the emotions in the situation, Mary helped me strategize in a friendly, competent way."
Guardianship client

"Jane jumps into action and stays on top of the many details and deadlines. She returns calls promptly. She is an outstanding attorney in the areas of elder law, estate planning and real estate law and she is devoted to the best interests of her clients."

"When my wife died, Jane Larson guided me through that process. She helped me establish a trust agreement so I will be prepared for the future. She was very patient and accommodating and thorough."
Estate Planning client

"Jane is an outstanding real estate attorney, and she is also a licensed real estate broker and agent. Her knowledge as a past and current real estate practitioner gives her a unique perspective of what's needed in handling estates, which often involve real estate that needs to be sold."

"Jane guided us through the entire process [of estate planning] making sure our documents covered everything."

"Jane is very energetic, and she always puts the client first. When a past listing client of mine was getting overwhelmed with the stress of selling his late mom's house, Jane made a special trip to the office on the weekend to reassure him."

“Despite dramatic improvements in medicine, humans still have a 100% mortality rate. Yet less than 1/3 of us do any end-of-life planning...”
— Gail Rubin, A Good Goodbye Foundation

Roseville attorneys Jane J. Larson and Mary Joki Ebb believe in planning ahead at every stage of life.  In their combined 50-plus years of experience, they’ve seen what happens when you don’t plan ahead. When an illness like Alzheimer’s or cancer suddenly thrusts individuals and families into difficult conversations confronting their mortality head on, there are many decisions to make and they feel ill-equipped to address them. That’s why planning ahead — when people are healthy — is important. Preparation brings peace of mind.

As human beings, we tend to want to avoid planning ahead.  We’re uncomfortable thinking about and talking about the inevitable “death and taxes.” Every situation is unique and has its own challenges, but Larson and Ebb have successfully guided clients through this very delicate process for many years. Having walked many clients through the process, both Larson and Ebb agree that the most common response to the initial meeting with clients is: “I just feel so much better and less confused.  I feel like I now have a direction.”

In May 2015, Larson and Ebb formed a new partnership and a new law firm to better serve individuals and families in Roseville and surrounding communities. Both Larson and Ebb are committed to providing the highest-quality service with the personal touch clients have come to expect from them.  Larson Ebb Law is succeeding beyond their initial expectations and the firm was recognized last summer by Roseville Review readers as “The Best Place for Legal Advice” in Roseville.
